Delete your QonaqBook account

You can delete your QonaqBook account (the qonaqbook.kz website and the QonaqBook app for iOS and Android) at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

In the app

  1. Open the QonaqBook app and sign in.
  2. Go to the “Menu” tab → “Personal details”.
  3. At the bottom of the screen tap “Delete account” and confirm.

On the website

Sign in and press “Delete account” on this page.

To delete your account on the website, sign in — you will come back to this page afterwards.

Can’t access your account? Write to support@qonaqbook.kz from the phone number or email address used in the account. We will verify that the request comes from the owner, delete the account and reply to your email.

What is deleted

  • Phone number, email address, first and last name, citizenship and password.
  • Google and Apple sign-in links and device identifiers for push notifications; all sessions are ended.
  • Consents to marketing and WhatsApp notifications; texts of WhatsApp conversations for the account’s phone number.
  • In completed and cancelled bookings — your name, phone number, email and the names of guests in the rooms.
  • Questions to hotels are unlinked from the account.

What is kept and why

  • Bookings and payments — in anonymised form (hotel, dates, amounts, without your name or contacts). Kazakhstan’s accounting and tax laws require us to keep them: primary accounting records are kept for at least 5 years and then destroyed or anonymised.
  • Active bookings (awaiting payment, confirmed, stay in progress) keep your contact details until they are completed — the hotel needs them to check you in. If you no longer need the trip, cancel the booking in “My bookings” first.
  • Passport details of foreign guests (for the eQonaq arrival notice) are stored encrypted and deleted one year after check-out.
  • Reviews stay published, but without the author’s name.
  • Usage statistics (without your name or contacts) are kept for up to 180 days, technical error reports for up to 30 days.
